Yering Gorge Cottages is located in the famous Yarra Valley wine region, approximately 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD and 50 minutes from the Melbourne Airport. As the cottages form part of a 630 acre farm, guests can also take part in activities such as feeding the cattle and horses.

This Yarra Valley accommodation offers guests a choice of 1 and 2 bedroom self contained cottages, that feature stunning views of the Yarra Valley or Yarra River. Wildlife is abundant at Yering Gorge Cottages and you can experience it on one of the several walks in and around the nature reserve and along the river front.

The region is home to approximately 80 wineries that feature cellar door sales and some of the best restaurants in Australia. Every weekend guests can wander through one of the markets that are on, including the farmers market at Yering Station Winery on the 3rd Sunday of the month or the craft market at Yarra Glen on the 1st Sunday of the month. Both of these markets are located a short distance from Yering Gorge Cottages.

Attractions such as hot air ballooning, wine tours and 2 golf courses are also located within a short distance, making Yering Gorge Cottages the ideal place to base yourself to experience the Yarra Valley on your next family holiday or romantic getaway to Victoria.

Activities

Cottages are situated adjacent to the Yering Gorge Nature Reserve on the Yarra River and adjacent to a working horse and cattle farm. There are 12 kilometres of walking tracks of varying difficulty and an abundance of native flora and fauna.
